How It Works

The Answering Rules feature allows you to route calls depending on who is calling, when the call comes through, and based on the number the caller has dialed. Unlimited number of rules can be applied to ensure calls are always answered and handled properly.

By selecting from a list of options which you personally can design, all calls will be directed based on your information. For example, if a caller has dialed your company after regular business hours, the answering rules enforced can be directed to forward the call to a voice mail box, to your cell phone, to an automated attendant, or any other rule you have established. VIP callers can also be programmed into the system and a new set of rules will apply each time a call is received from the VIP phone number. Essentially every time your biggest customer calls into the office, they will automatically be forwarded to your extension or cell phone number. You can also use the Answering Rule feature when your company is closed for holidays, vacations, or any other extenuating circumstance.
